Top menu File Save As… or  ( Ctrl+Shift+S )

There is few version SVG you may want to use:

• Inkscape SVG (as Project file)
• Plain SVG (file removed extra Inkscape code good for send to diffrent Vector graphic programs)
• Optimized SVG (best for using on web pages will remove elements doesn’t support by browser)

If you want to test what will be removed and how big file is use attachment file.
